Somerset House East Wing

The refurbishment and creative adaptation of Sir William Chamber’s masterpiece was led by Studio Director Il’ic Testoni whilst working with BDP. This transformative project sensitively reinstated the heavily modified interiors of the building, , to accommodate new cultural and academic facilities for Somerset House Trust and King’s College London. The proposals were designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent within the context of this highly significant Grade I listed building.
