A very discerning client appointed us to transform his two bedroom ground floor flat, located in the Redington & Frognal Conservation Area in Hampstead (North London), to increase the floorspace whilst also bringing light and views of the rear garden deep into the living areas. The brief encompassed opening up the spaces, increasing connectivity, making the best of the links to the garden and creating a relaxing, high quality environment for enjoyment and entertainment.
The project upgrades every single room in the property, adding a new substantial extension facing the outdoor spaces where new kitchen, dining and living spaces flow seamlessly into one another. New generous rooflights and a 4m wide sliding glazed screen link these areas to the mature garden at the back, enabling natural light to reach deep into the rooms and activating interesting vistas.
